“The Simple Way”: A little too simple?

Interesting article about The Simple Way and Shane Claiborne’s “Irresistable Revolution.” Anyone read or heard of this book/movement?

    I’ve heard about this and read a little about it – I must admit that I’m pretty intrigued by the ideas. There was an article in Christianity Today back in September about it as well. Another site that seems to be about the same sort of ideas is Mustard Seed Associates

    I am currently reading the book. I think that this man is posing extremely radical ideas, however I am becoming more convinced that if we took the Jesus literally then it would not be radical at all but normal. I an not antiAmerican but I am antiAmerican Dream. I beleive that the American dream is not God’s dream. I beleive that the pursuit of this dream takes us further away from what God has asked of us, let alone what He has commanded of us. -Kyle
